Corpus Philosophorum Danicorum medii Ævi (CPhD)

CPhD is published under the auspices of the Danish Society of Language and Literature. The series is planned to comprise fifteen volumes. Ten of these have appeared. Press here to see the complete list.

CPhD contains critical editions of texts by Danish medieval philosophers, theologians and scientists, including: Boëthius de Dacia, one of the targets of the Parisian condemnations of 1277; the astronomer Petrus Philomena from around 1290; and Andrew, archbishop of Lund 1202-23, who is represented with his Hexaëmeron, a versified theological summa.

CPhD was founded by Alfred Otto and Heinrich Roos.
From 1972 Jan Pinborg was editor-in-chief; since 1982, Sten Ebbesen.
